Yoassmy bani Ex Miscellanea was a 14th century mage made famous by her death at the hands of the nascent Order of Reason.
Yoassmy's covenant, the White Tower of Languedoc in Brittany, France, was seized by the Craftmasons in 1325. According to them, she had retreated from her obligations to the lands she ruled in favor of her private research, and possibly fallen into Quiet. The Church (and their Artificer allies) meanwhile held her to be a heretic, and supported the assault. According to some accounts, Yoassmy did not die, but Ascended on the spot in the form of a great white bird; she is sometimes identified with the Umbrood Preceptor Aelida.
