Year of the Hunter
From the White Wolf Wiki, the most complete White Wolf reference
The Year of the Hunter was a theme unifying White Wolf releases in 1995 and 1996. The focus of this year was mortals, specifically those who hunted, studied or otherwise interacted with the supernatural denizens of the World of Darkness.
[edit] Books
Five books were released under the Year of the Hunter imprint, one for each major World of Darkness game. These were:
- The Inquisition for Vampire: The Masquerade
- Project Twilight for Werewolf: The Apocalypse
- Halls of the Arcanum for Mage: The Ascension
- The Quick and the Dead for Wraith: The Oblivion
- The Autumn People for Changeling: The Dreaming
[edit] Other books
Other books were released which fit thematically with the Year of the Hunter, but weren't included due to their being published in different years.
- The Hunters Hunted, a generic World of Darkness sourcebook detailing (mostly) mortal hunter groups, published in 1992.
- Demon Hunter X, a Year of the Lotus title detailing two Asian hunter groups, the Shih and Strike Force Zero.
- First Contact for Hunter: The Reckoning, which updated many of the groups featured in The Hunters Hunted for the Revised World of Darkness and their relationships with the Imbued.
- Dark Ages: Inquisitor for the Dark Ages line.
- Laws of the Hunt, the Mind's Eye Theatre reference for mortals and hunters. Followed by Laws of the Hunt: Players Guide and Laws of the Hunt: Revised.
