Wyrm Wolf is a fiction novel about urban Garou in San Francisco. It is the second in a series of Werewolf: The Apocalypse novels published by HarperCollins.

Summary[]

The Wyrm, the ultimate evil, and all the twisted dark forces at its command once again awaken to feed on human souls and threaten the world with destruction — Father Oldman, a werewolf posing as a Catholic priest, runs a homeless shelter and soup kitchen in the "Tenderloin" area of San Francisco. When gruesome murders of the local homeless start occurring, he suspects it's the work of a werewolf, or "Garou", who has succumbed to the evils of the Wyrm.

From the Back Cover:

The Wyrm Awakens
Across the world it rises from the pits to hiss defiance, to roar vengeance. From the slime-thick depths, from the wind-blasted wastes, from the seas of debris and the rivers of poison, its twisted minions howl in answer.
Just as Gaia is creator, the Wyrm is destroyer. Its victory shall be the end of all things.
For eons we Garou have been the hunters, the predators. Now we shall know what is is like to be...the prey.

Memorable Quotes[]

"Our greatest fight, our most bloody battle, is to survive alone in the world. Though Gaia and Luna turn their backs on us, we will survive. There will come a time when we are the only ones left, and then we will have won." - Shakespeare, Bone Gnawer Galliard Grandfather
"Do not belittle that which you do not understand. Our ways are rooted in millennia of life among the Pure, but when the Apocalypse is hard upon us, we shall not fall to ignorance or inflexibility. We travel far to gather what aid there may be, and our ranks swell with every refugee who flees from the camp of the Enemy." - Kara Two-Nails, She-Who-Saw-The-Sky, Uktena Philodox
"Before you two battle, I remind you that one of you will die. I ask you if this act is the legacy you wish to leave to the world that gave you birth. Would you see us go screaming to Malfeas because the Garou people are torn by self-disembowelment? Or will you summon the courage of your ancestors and find the Inner strength to place Gaia's wounds above your wounded pride?" - Selesti Calm-Bringer Children of Gaia Philodox
