Wyrd (WTO)

A Wyrd is a powerful Plasmic entity that inhabits the Tempest in Wraith: The Oblivion. Large and alien in both appearance and thought, Wyrds are extremely intelligent and gifted in many Arcanoi, especially Argos. Wyrds usually take on fearful appearances, their forms not unlike creatures from the works of H. P. Lovecraft.

Many mistake Wyrds for Malfeans, but Wyrds are a type of Whistimmu and were never human or wraith. In addition, they do not consume all around them with Oblivion and they don't employ Spectre lackeys. In spite of their fearsome appearances, some Wyrds actually assist wraiths for reasons known only to themselves.
