I wish I was making this up. I came across this when I was looking at the Fox News site^[1] and lo and behold, yes, it is actually the fifth annual Zombie Awareness Month.^[2] Now if only there was a Vampire Awareness Month... (:

I don't know what's worse the fact that we have a Zombie Awareness Month or the fact that the CDC is actually seriously trying to get people to prepare for a Zombie Apocalypse.^[3][4][5]

The people who started Zombie Awareness Month were the Zombie Research Society. So, don't forget to wear your gray ribbons boys and girls! ^[6]
