Vampire: The Vendetta is a card game for 2 or more players (preferably 3 to 5), in which each player tells the story of a particular Family, Faith, or Faction of vampires. No two players can be telling the story of a group of vampires that another player is telling. (In other words, you can't have 2 players both telling the story of the Nosferatu, even though any number of players may include multiple Nosferatu in their story.)

Players take turns creating a scene, picking both the setting and actors to play out that scene. Play produces plot. Once the scene is established, players with actors in the scene take turns establishing relations, histories, connections, schemes, etc. with the other characters of that scene. This interconnected network of re…

This is part of my struggle to awaken Vampire from it's long torpor, specifically in the form of a new card game that acts as a spiritual successor to Vampire: The Eternal Struggle (aka VTES). I plan on elaborating more on this in the future.

Each vampire, or 'minion', ideally, should have three subtypes: Blood. Creed. Party. in that order. Of course, many cards would reference these subtypes with their effects.

This page is concerned with the Factions - political entities that seek to control both kine and kin where they can. If one's bloodis determine by one's sire and physical traits and characteristics, and one's creed is whatever beliefs one subscribes to or holds true to explain their condition, the party is the group that one joins explicitly bec…

"The strength of a hundred men, the speed of a falling star, dominion over the night and all it's creatures - to see and hear through their senses; even heal grevious wounds."

This page is concerned with the vampiric powers - known as disciplines in both WoD and CoD. Certain powers are more common among certain families, faiths, or factions. A vampire may use any power, even those he or she is not learned or skilled in, by making an exertion (paying two pool, plus one pool for each rank required by the particular power.)

Each power has three ranks, Basic, Advanced, and Master, denoted 1, 2, and 3, respectively. While this list contains all the powers, it doesn't contain all instances of each power. Rather, each power is given four instances of…

Each vampire, or 'minion', ideally, should have three subtypes: Family. Faith. Faction. in that order. Of course, many cards would reference these subtypes with their effects.

This page is concerning the Faiths - those beliefs and mythologies held by kindred that explains their existence and their purpose. For example, why they must feed, why they are immortal, what it means to be a vampire. These are modified versions of the sects, paths, and covenants found in the various WoD editions.

Whereas with the Families I was trying to hit on what I viewed as the primary va…

This page is concerning the Families - vampires who share certain physical characteristics and behaviours with each other - most often how they 'feed'. These are modified versions of the clans and bloodlines found in previous editions of the WoD. I've simplified and combined what I could into recognizable 'monster archetypes', similar to what Requiem did.

Basically, I'm being very loose with the …
