The Trinity Players Guide is the players guide for Trinity.
Summary[]
From the 1999 Jul-Dec Catalog:
A Multitude of Questions
With the return of Aberrants, the rise of psions and contact with alien races, citizens of the 22nd century face complexities heretofore unknown to human culture. In such turbulent times, it can be tough to know where one fits into the scheme of things. Luckily, the ever-helpful Æon Trinity has compiled much sought after information on life in the 2120s.
A Universe of Answers
The Trinity Players Guide broadens the scope of the Trinity Universe while simultaneously filling in key details. You not only learn the extent of influence that organizations like the Æon Trinity and United Nations have upon society, you see how the man on the street copes with matters of galactic significance. Plus, you get juicy character information, including Merits and Flaws, and an optional new Aptitude system. An absolute must-have for all Trinity fans.
Background Information[]
- Aside from a colour frontispiece, this is the first Trinity book published without a full-colour setting section. Setting text is mixed in with other rules text in the form of sidebars. This is to be the standard format for the remainder of the game line.
- The section on freeform psi aptitudes, written by Jenna Moran (then writing as R. Sean Borgstrom), presages her later work on similar subjects in books like Exalted: The Sidereals, Exalted: The Fair Folk, and other non-White Wolf games like Nobilis.
