Telluric Engine

The Telluric Engine is a device created by Dr. Calvin Hammersmith for the purpose of harnessing telluric energy.

Hammersmith believed that telluric energy represented an inexhaustible power source, one that would revolutionize the world. The Telluric Engine would theoretically extract and store this energy, transducing it into a form that could be used for various other purposes. During his ill-fated demonstration, the engine began to charge as expected, but when the batteries reach capacity, it exploded in a devastating fire.

Later engineers, such as Dr. Hephaestia Geary-Wexler, were able to build working telluric engines with the benefit of Inspiration on their side.
