Talk:Kindred (VTM)
From the White Wolf Wiki, the most complete White Wolf reference
Shouldn't this page be merged with Vampire (oWOD)? 64.9.15.180 14:06, 23 March 2006 (UTC)
- No. Vampires are presented in two different ways in the oWOD. The internal look at them, with their physiology, their politics and their clan division (Kindred (VTM)). Then the external look at them, largely as antagonists, who don't necessarily have clans or politics (Vampire (oWOD)). --Ian 21:24, 23 March 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Vampire Physiology etc..
The vast majority of this information should stay in the Vampire: The Masquerade article as that is where it is most relevant. The term kindred is just a nickname; as this article points out it is not a universal title for vampires and this is not where people would look for this sort of information. Please discuss the matter before making big changes to an article. Moogle001 17:53, 11 April 2006 (UTC)
- Agreed and reverted both articles. BebopKate 20:03, 11 April 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Anne Rice reference?
While Anne Rice was certainly a reference for the WoD-vampires, there were similar ideas of vampirism before Interview With The Vampire. I'd say the reference needs to be mentioned elsewhere, not right at the beginning of the article.
