Is it spelt this way in Dark Ages? I ask mainly because I've usually seen it spelt Demesne, which is the way it's spelt in Exalted as well. Even if the spelling differs, its the same word and I reckon it should probably still be disambiguated... Thoughts? -- Guybrush 02:30, 3 December 2006 (UTC)

Proper spelling is indeed Demesne, pronounced "de-meen." It is indeed also an Exalted term. --Ian ^talk 04:27, 3 December 2006 (UTC)

Don't worry about it - simple mistake, uncommon word. But I wonder if it would be better put under Demesne (oWOD), since its used for all the Dark Ages games? Admittedly, mostly in conjunction with Vampire, but still... Wow, I'm being quite the pedant this evening. -- Guybrush 10:17, 3 December 2006 (UTC)

Actually, that's a pretty good suggestion. I think my brain just defaults to Vampire because that's the book it came out of. Please feel free to let me know about anything like that, since I don't know what concepts also pop up in the other Dark Ages books. BebopKate 21:54, 3 December 2006 (UTC)
