Gangrel Departure[]
It might be silly, but I am pretty sure that it was only in 1999 that Xaviar took the Gangrel away from the Camarilla. It was a reaction to the clan's unfortunate run-in with The Eye of Hazimel, which occurred in the clan novel series, which takes place in 1999. Am I mistaken here, or...?

- You are not mistaken. The event occurs in 1999, in the Clan Novel series. However, the information in the actual RPG books takes precedence whenever there's a conflict. In the Guide to the Camarilla, it described the event as having happened in 1998 (and the GttC was published in 1998, prior to the publishing of the Clan Novel series). So while we may mention the event later on as possibly happening in 1999 (when we go through the Clan Novels for dates), we're leaving this in as the "more correct" option. --Ian 04:58, 26 February 2006 (UTC)
