As the only mentions of Suarez were made by werewolves who met his right-hand man Boyer, his actual clan is unknown - but he is probably a Toreador, since the clan of the rose is one of the most powerful organizations commanding the city, side by side to the Lasombra (who claim Gratiano de Veronese as the city's Archbishop).
According to the garou, Orson Welles once visited the Carnival in Rio de Janeiro in 1942 for the documentary film project "It's All True". Welles allegedly captured footage of Bone Gnawer elders dancing in the streets. He also caught Suarez on film accidentally breaking the Masquerade. It is said that Suarez called the studio, which cut Welles’ funding. The footage was destroyed soon afterwards.
