Rejuviderm, also called "facelift in a tube", is a bane-tainted product of Siren Cosmetics.
Overview[]
Rejuviderm is a facial beauty mask that hides all physical imperfections in human skin. In addition, it gives the skin a healthy, natural glow while the user appears to not be wearing makeup at all. The product adds 1 to a person's Appearance when worn (up to a maximum of 5).
The downsides are twofold. The first is relatively minor: just a slight blotchiness and unevenness to the skin which persists for a month after the person stops using the product. The second is more insidious. The Bane in the product affects the user's mind, making them extremely paranoid about their physical appearance. The slightest flaw will become an all-consuming obsession and only continued use can allay this dementia. The preoccupation will take up so much of the user's energy and self-esteem that it ultimately results in a permanent drop in Charisma by 2 dots. After many years, the product will stop working for about 10% of its users, leaving them in a hell of self-hatred and revulsion.
