The Reed of Djehuty (or, by their Greek name, the Reed of Thoth) was a fellowship of Sacred Artisans who employ sacred geometry to mirror the journey of the soul, assembled by Thothmes III and Hatshepsut circa 1500 BC. They employed the nine Cornerstones of Creation in their Art. They were mathematicians, masons and artificers.

Their counterparts were the Cupbearers of Aset.

Dissent, rivalry and jealousy quickly fractured the two groups, and various orders preserve or pervert the secrets of the Reed.

The basic philosophy of the Reed will eventually rise again in the organization calling itself the Order of Reason, although it also contributes to future groups such as the Order of Hermes and the Solificati.
