Penelope Attwood is a mortal scholar not knowing she is studying Vampire Lore. She was created as a sample character for Vampire: The Masquerade Second Edition.
Biography[]
Professor Penelope Attwood is one of the foremost experts in Sumerian cuneiform. She has published countless books and revolutionized scholarly understanding of the Sumerian priesthood and its structure. She is a celebrity in her small academic world.
Her current project may be the crowning point her career - a translation of a large cache of cuneiform tablets uncovered by war damage in northern Kuwait. The project is progressing very well but more slowly than originally thought, there are some unusual features of vocabulary and expressions that seem to recount a creation myth very different from normal Middle Eastern cultures.
The most significant thing so far that has been translated has been one word: Nod.
