- 1119
- Founded to defend pilgrims in the Holy Land from attacks by infidels. Three of the founders are mages belonging to the Cabal of Pure Thought. They also had some ties to the Messianic Voices.[1]
- 1128
- Received the Rule, a formal regulatory set of instructions on how to live, eat, dress, and function, from Bernard of Claireaux, a Bishop and theologian.[2]

- 1307
- On orders of the Pope, King Philip the Fair of France orders the arrest of the Templars and the seizure of their houses and goods. After Jacques do Molay is captured, a new Grand Master is chosen.[3]
- 1313
- The Knights are betrayed and outlawed. Surviving Knights offer an alliance between them and the Cabal of Pure Thought.[4]
- 1314
- Sir Garland of Laramay forswears Christianity, flees into the Black Forest. Through to 1320, establishes Pagan fiefdom within Holy Roman Empire, mingles Arabian, Latin and Germanic Arts
- 1325
- Several factions, including the Cabal, unite to form the Order of Reason.[5]

- 1837
- By this time, Templars are merely afterthoughts in the Order of Reason's grand plan. After the Order reveals its plan to abandon religion entirely, the Templars plan to leave. Their headquarters are besieged by newly-created HIT Marks. A new Grand Master is elected as the old one dies buying the survivors time.[6] The Templars become their own Craft.
