Born of the dreams of sailors, the Merfolk are among the strangest and rarest of all kithain. They dwell in the sea, apart from the world of men, and over the centuries their kinain have adapted to underwater life, undergoing bizarre physical changes. They are often preoccupied with war, as they face attack from their Thallain cousins, the Murdhuacha.
