- David Scondras of the Center for Disease Control replies to Aaron Richards' letter of the 9th. He expresses his shock at Æon's intrusion into a private correspondence, and at their thwarting (at both the state and federal level) his attempts to declare a medical emergency. He also wonders at Richards' goals in demanding the transfer of the patient in question to an Æon facility "with no explanation of why or of your authority in so demanding. I'm sorry, Doctor Richards, but until we discover the source of the radiation... that has warped and mutated my colleague's patient so radically, I feel it constitutes a danger of epidemic proportion."
- Dave Henderson, Commander of the Space Brigade, sends a message to the relatives of Selene Olympia Miller via Denver Communications, informing them of her death beyond the ability of doctors to save due to Lunar Aggravated Osteoporosis. He passes on his sincere condolences. The child, a boy, is not yet named by the father.
- Reinhardt Tuten decides that Catalanotto doesn't know how many organs come in and out of the Organ Banks. The records are hopelessly out of date; a quick look shows that the numbers in the computer are too low, contrary to what one might think. The policies on personal effects of the deceased are also not being followed.
- Jacob De Koening, Williams and McCaskey chat with Orgotek trainee Martha Ollinger over Orgonet, before Ollinger's reprimanded by Dr. Marcus Srinivasan.
