A lunatic is a Garou who has resisted their First Change out of sheer willpower. They repress their true nature and as a result, suffer from mental health problems. The Valkenburg Foundation was set up to help them recover. Some tribes, such as the Children of Gaia, welcome any attempt to help lunatics, whereas others, mainly the Red Talons, believe that such "weaklings" should not be helped.
