A Lemure is the most common type of wraith found in Wraith: The Oblivion. Lemures have been removed from their caul and retain most, if not all, of their Fetters. Most Lemures are young and have limited power; they also tend to stay in the Shadowlands most of the time so they have access to their Fetters.
A Lemure who manages to stay in the Shadowlands for centures and still maintain a Fetter will eventually become a Gaunt. Those who lose their Fetters become Domem.
