A Keeper is the Fae who "owned" a changeling during their time in the realm of Faerie. This is almost always the Fae who abducted them from the mortal world and brought them through the Hedge, though on some rare occasions one of the Gentry may acquire humans from other Fae, either through trade or as a gift.
