Three major titles were released for Iron Heroes:

• Monte Cook Presents: Iron Heroes - the main rulebook, a variant Player's Handbook. A revised edition, including all official errata, was published in electronic form by Fiery Dragon in 2007, with the title changed simply to Iron Heroes.
• Mastering Iron Heroes - a guide for game masters containing rules for antagonists; more or less a variant Dungeon Master's Guide.
• The Iron Heroes Bestiary - a collection of creatures for use in Iron Heroes campaigns; a variant Monster Manual.
