Independents (also called individualists in Aberrant) are characters in the Trinity Universe who have eschewed any allegiance. They might remain unaffiliated out of self-interest or because of some other motivation — or, for that matter, because of a lack of motivation. Individuals who start out as independents may gravitate towards any of the other allegiance as time progresses.
