Interwiki links are a way to facilitate the creation of connections between different wikis. Instead of requiring that a full URL be duplicated,

[edit] Local Interwiki Links

The first kind of interwiki links are links to other editions of White Wolf in other languages. Generally, on a page these links will appear at the top and the bottom of a page under the heading "Other languages:". These links can be created like this:

[[de:Example|Example]]

(Note the use of the piped link.) These links will appear in the header and footer tables on the page.

Alternatively, you can include these links inline in an article using the following method:

[[:de:Example|Example]]

The list of interwiki prefixes for the different language editions of Memory Alpha are as follows:

Language	Code
German	de
Dutch	nl
French	fr
etc.	etc.

(This list will be updated as new editions are created.)

[edit] External Interwiki Links

Links to websites outside of White Wolf can be created in the same fashion, except that these links will always appear inline in an article. An example would be:

• [[Wikipedia:Example|Example]]
