Giuseppe Del Fuego is the Proxy of the Biokinesis order, the Nova Fôrça de Nacionales, in the Trinity Universe.

Biography[]

Born Reynaldo Solomon Constante in Medellín, Colombia, del Fuego grew up in poverty. To support his family after his father died of a Taint disease, he became involved in the drug cartels that still pervaded his country.[1] He adopted the name Cristofol Estilos when he joined Norça in 2098; at the time, the organization was flagging, as its legitimate business struggled against new Indigenous competition and its illegal operations were embroiled in infighting. Estilos soon revitalized both faces of the Norça, and established "Giuseppe del Fuego" as an alternate identity that he soon adopted full-time.[2]

In 2102, del Fuego undertook a journey to the asteroid belt and disappeared for nearly a year.[2] He had been chosen by the Doyen to become one of the Proxies. He traveled to Luna and underwent noetic surgery to learn biokinesis, returning to Earth with the core of a Prometheus Chamber.[3] Del Fuego revealed almost nothing to his colleagues in Norça about where he'd been or what he could now do, but instead focused on applying his new abilities to creating marketable biotech By 2104 he had taken completely control of the cartel and begun transforming it into a Psi Order.[2]

Del Fuego tends to be paranoid, and in 2109 he decided that the only person he can truly trust with the most sensitive matters is himself - literally. Through biokinesis, he started creating duplicates of himself, autonomous individuals who can act independently and recombine later on. As many as six del Fuegos exist at any one time, though only a handful of people know about it — mostly those who work to cover it up. Matthieu Zweidler and Otha Herzog are some of the only people outside Norça aware of this ability.

In 2121, one of del Fuego's copies went missing. As he has no special awareness of what the copies are doing at any one time, del Fuego does no know what became of the missing duplicate, though he does not believe it's dead. The alternatives, though, are almost more unsettling: it may have been captured, it may be injured or otherwise incapacitated, or it may have decided to go on its own deep cover mission without informing anyone else.[4]

Del Fuego styles himself the "Father of Norça" and takes a personal role in triggering every biokinetic latent.[5] His agenda, however, is to protect humankind from any and all threats - no matter what it takes.[6] That includes the threat of the Doyen, whom del Fuego does not trust.[7] To that end, he has continued the Chitra Bhanu's experiments with Taint; the Norça harbor a handful of quantakinetics who survived their order's purge. Del Fuego is fairly certain that S. K. Bhurano was being manipulated by outside forces, but he's not positive who was pulling her strings.[8]
