Summary[]

From the back cover:

The Darkness Grows...
The dark screams of the living touch not your bitter soul.
You are torn between fealty to your elder masters and the surge of power within your young, vibrant blood.
The black dogs of the Sabbat are your sworn enemies... or they are your hidden leaders.
You are Kindred. You are Childe of the Damned.
There is great power in Undeath.
The GURPS Vampire Companion takes over where GURPS Vampire left off. Within these pages, you will find new Disciplines, advanced Disciplines for elder vampires, and all the new clans and bloodlines from the Vampire Player's Guide and the Player's Guide to the Sabbat, including an entire chapter on the diabolical Sabbat, their history, motivations and tactics.
Also included are new rules for elder vampires, including the mysterious Inconnu, plus new GURPS advantages and disadvantages to help players enhance and customize their GURPS Vampire characters.
And more... detailed rules for stalking and hunting, new conversion notes and four original adventure seeds to help spark unique GURPS Vampire campaigns.

Introduction[]

About GURPS[]

1. Characters[]

This chapter gives the GURPS Vampire gamer a much broader palette with which to construct a unique Kinded character. GMs and players should note that several of the advantages and disadvantages presented herein are primarily found only in the Sabbat sect, and should be rare or nonexistent outside of the group.

2. Elder Vampires[]

Elder vampires are seldom seen and little known, but in many ways the whole Vampire campaign revolves around them. This chapter is intended to give the GM a bit more information which can be used to incorporate elders actively into his campaign.

Notes on converting elders described in White Wolf books into GURPS terms can be found in the Conversion chapter.

3. New Clans and Bloodlines[]

Traditionally, the race of Caine divides itself into 13 clans. Seven clans make up the Camarilla, two more form the cornerstone of the Sabbat, and the other four clans remain, by and large, independent of any one sect. Each of these clans is ancient and powerful in its own right, and neither of the great sects takes them lightly.

The society of the Cainites is ancient and Byzantine. It is not possible to record it in all its complexity in a single book, or even two. This chapter deals with some significant aspects of vampire existence which do not fit within any of the other sections of the two books which make up the GURPS Vampire game.
