As an admirer of the Revised V:tM mainbook, the Guide to the Camarilla and the Guide to the Sabbat, I've long been curious as to who did what for them. This wiki and Pen & Paper have long and (I presume) comprehensive lists of contributors, but by and large they don't provide any detail about who worked on particular topics or sections in the books. (For example, I'm particularly interested to know who deserves the credit for the section on elders in Guide to the Cam.) I'm sure one could ask similar questions about other WW titles with long credit lists and/or a basis in earlier editions. Does anyone have this information, or know a way to get it? If I do get hold of the information I'll be happy to update the entries for at least the three books I've mentioned and possibly others.
(I'll try floating this question over at white-wolf.com as well.) Leocomerford 02:33, 15 February 2009 (UTC)
- There's no easy way to find out exactly who's responsible for what unless you ask the authors or developers themselves. Some books (Darkness Revealed 2: Passage Through Shadow, as an example) include this information in the credits section, but the vast majority do not.
- Barring trying to track down everyone who has ever worked on a book, everything here's as comprehensive as we can get it. We not only pull the list of credits from the books, but we try to list them in exactly the same manner, and if a later book makes a correction ("oops, we left this artist out of the credits two books ago!") then we add them in as appropriate.
