Matthias of Bath is a 7th generation Salubri, childe of Generys. He was a renowned healer and historian of his clan, and companion of the warrior Yael.
Biography[]
During the Dark Ages, Matthias was the son of a weaver who took holy orders upon the creation of a Benedictine monastery near his home in Bath, England. After the Embrace, he followed the path of the healer and was quite renowned for his abilities.
One night he met a female Warrior Salubri Yael, and the pair quickly became close friends. He acted as her chronicler and advisor as well as a constant companion. They fought Baali and Setites who had infiltrated the Church, and also wrote a great deal of the history of the Salubri in their battle against the Baali and other infernalists.
Matthias is part of one of the few surviving family trees that describe the lineage of the now extinct clan.
Unknown about his fates, both likely to their zealotry lead them to the Tremere who were in a diablerie purge.
