Peter Dorfman is a 7th generation Tremere and one of the seven pontifices assigned to Inner Councilor Meerlinda. His purview is the politics of the United States and as a result, his residence has been Washington, D.C.

Biography[]

Previously, Dorfmann held the position of politics of the entire North American continent. He was shifted to his position after Marcus Vitel overthrew the former Prince, Marissa, since rumors were abound that his predecessor had been complicit to Vitel' schemes. Dorfman assumed the position of the loyal opposition to Vitel in the city's politics, under the careful watch of Meerlinda, since the Inner Council feared what amount of influence a powerful vampire within the capital of an important nation could wield.

The chantry headed by Dorfman has assembled some of the most ambitious and political skilled of the Clan, with Dorfman working against a shadowy force of mages called the New World Order, who often interfere with his plans for the government of the United States. Nevertheless, he was one of the most influential Cainites within the city, with enough contacts to manipulate elections to suit his plans. His vision is that of a strong American government that will expand its influence in global politics and business, with him guiding events worldwide from his chantry. Since he shared this goal with Vitel, the two often clashed and Dorfman was suspicious of him, even harboring the sentiment that Vitel had ties to the Sabbat (which later proved true when the Sabbat took Washington, D.C).

His fate following the transition of Washington, D.C. into an Sabbat diocese is not known, but the Tremere chantry was reported to have withstood the siege.
