Courtney Harper is a teenage Ananasi girl who undergoes her First Change in the introductory comic in Breedbook: Ananasi. The story shows how a young werespider's emotions gradually flatten or vanish before their change. It also implies that she eats, or at least exsanguinates, her human mother at the end.[1]
