  1. This is the final Ars Magica book released by White Wolf before the IP is sold to Wizards of the Coast.
  2. Published by Wizards of the Coast in 1994. The manuscript was nearly finalized by White Wolf, it was just never published before the IP was sold. It can be seen listed in the 1993/1994 White Wolf Catalog.
  3. Steve Jackson Games and White Wolf had a falling out over the publication of GURPS Mage: The Ascension. White Wolf didn't approve of the final copy of the book and SJG didn't appreciate an art piece in the Wraith: The Oblivion corebook looking too similar to Illuminati: The Game of Conspiracy. Each setting was supposed to have a main GURPS corebook and a Companion sourcebook. Shadis #16 Nov. 1994 and Shadis #17 Jan. 1995.
