Feeding is the act of draining blood from a vessel by a vampire. The act of feeding is the primary pleasure left to Kindred and an obsession.
In order to feed, a vampire must first immobilize a human and then sink his fangs into a major blood vessel. Being fed on is intensely, even addictively, pleasurable for humans, so only the most strong willed can continue to struggle after being bitten. Feeding continues until the Vampire has taken "sufficient" blood from the vessel, although gluttony is possible, and a hungry vampire will have an extremely difficult time breaking off - fatalities during feeding are not uncommon, and are all but guaranteed during a hunger Frenzy. Each blood point taken from a subject is equivalent to a wound.
Once a vampire has fed, he can heal the punctures by licking them; this is a unique ability and does not effect other wounds inflicted by the vampire.
