- Anthony Farrell, owner of Farrell and Sons Meat Packing, is found hanging from a meat hook after a severe beating. Upon regaining consciousness, Farrell reports having a "very realistic dream" of experiencing the life of a veal calf, from birth to slaughter. Within a month, Farrell has sold his company and retired.[1]

- Doctors in the Æon Trinity medplex in the SubChicago arcology examine the bodies of the "aliens" which attacked Research Outpost Vesta. Their physiology implies alien origin, but their DNA is essentially identical to that of ordinary humans. Proxy Dr. Matthieu Zweidler confirms that the creatures are Aberrants.[2]
