Douglas Streets was an employee of the Los Angeles Department of Water and Power in the 1950s. In July of 1957, he was assigned to investigate the disappearance of three LADWP employees doing work in the oldest sections of the sewers. Streets witnessed many unsettling things in his exploration of the poorly-documented section, and became convinced the missing men had fallen victim to an ancient evil. Streets persuaded the mayor of Los Angeles to seal off the relevant sections of the sewer system, and then resigned from LADWP himself.
In VTM: Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines , the player character can uncovering Streets' log book while exploring the sewers in the present day.
