Domem

In Wraith: The Oblivion, a Domem (pl. Domem) is a wraith who has lost all of their Fetters. Domem cannot travel to the Shadowlands for more than a few minutes, and are restricted to staying in areas within the Tempest, such as Stygia.
Although the term generally implies age, Domem can be young. The Deathlords became Domem after their Fetters were destroyed in the nineteenth century. Most of the administrative class of Stygia and the other Dark Kingdoms are also made up of Domem, as they have nowhere else to go. Domem are generally looked down upon by Gaunts and other wraiths who have kept their Fetters, at least partly because without resolving Fetters, Transcendence is difficult, if not impossible.
