Dark Ages: Mage is part of the Dark Ages series, set in the Dark Medieval of the World of Darkness.

The setting is Europe in 1230. It serves as (sort of) a sequel to Ars Magica, and a prequel to Mage: The Sorcerers Crusade and Mage: The Ascension.

Characters take on the role of one of six Fellowships:
