The Chains of the Emperor is an Arcanos unique to the wraiths of the Dark Kingdom of Jade. The only wraiths with knowledge of this Arcanos are those who are members of or were once members of the Immortal Guard. The art was developed by Yu Huang and his advisor Fu Xia. The Chains of the Emperor can subdue any wraith, kuei, or lesser Spectre.
Chains of the Emperor has some abilities in common with Moliate. It also directly opposes Argos.

- Soul Anchor: A Guardsman can detect any nearby uses of Argos.

Brilliance: A Guardman can cause their skin to glow with an eerie inner brilliance.
- Shackles: A Guardsman may create shackles from his own Corpus to bind another wraith.
- Snare: A Guardsman can cancel any use of Argos.
- Lariat: A Guardsman may use the Shackle ability for a much larger range.
- Net: A Guardsman can snag a group of wraiths with abilities similar to Snare and Shackles.
