Camille is one of the few Western Kindred that has stayed in Hong Kong. She is acting as both Pedder’s and the Camarilla’s agent to determine the plans of the Eastern vampires and whether or not they pose a threat to the Kindred of the West. She is less noticeable as “Western” and she hopes this acts to camouflage her still being in the city when all other Western Kindred have been expelled.
When Hong Kong acquired Kowloon and the New Territories from China, Hong Kong’s Camarilla Ventrue Prince, Robert Pedder know that there would be a time Hong Kong would slip into the grasp of China. He set about cultivating a “sleeper” agent when he could no longer be an active part in Asian politics. He found it in Camille T’sien, the daughter of a bored French diplomat and a Cantonese Artist.
Pedder met Camille when she was 18. Seduced and dominated her. Sent her diplomat father back to France, had her biological father killed, introduced her to the Euroasian community and arranged to have her education as a “hostess”. Then when the time was right Embraced her, blood bound her and put her to work for him.
Camille became the sought after “entertainer”, with a little help from Pedder. She flirted with the Who’s Who of British society, Chinese power-brokers, politicians, and culture icons. She was able to pick out secrets left and right. For the next decade, Pedder and Camille plotted to make way for Pedder’s eventual departure and Camille staying on as his spy.
Camille stands a petite 4’11”. She wears her long black hair in intricate styles to complement her clothing, which is always elegant. Her delicate features blend Chinese and European characteristics, though her father’s blood predominates. Her dark almond-shaped eyes sparkle with a keen wit.
