The raw bulk of the Tremere is compromised of various apprentices that are organized in seven circles of mysteries within their local Chantry. Every neonate Tremere begins in the first circle and advances slowly as his thaumathurgical and political wits grow. The more he advances within the circles, the less direct observations from his superiors is given to him. Many Tremere never advance beyond the rank of apprentice, either because they chose to focus on Camarilla politics, on their own projects or because their Regents find them way too useful to promote them.
Each apprentice is tasked with special assignments that are directed from their Regent. It is the sole duty of each apprentice to adhere to these assignments and report regularly to his superiors, but most regents have styled these duties to be more moderate, in order to encourage creativity and self-growth.
