- Based on their experiences fighting the Devil Kings, Abbah Rabbiniath and Frater Decimus of the University of Light write the Sebil-el-Mafouh Whash, the first in-depth examination of the Ahl-i-Najasa ("Filthy Ones," the Nephandi) and a manual on how to combat infernalists. The manual is useful for centuries to come, and is later translated into Latin as the Malleus Nephandorum.
- September 20: Mohammed and 70 warriors take up residence in Yathrib, plotting their return to Mecca.
- Suleiman ibn Abdullah, an outcast of the Lasombra, converts to Islam after extended conversations with Mohammed. He fonds the Ashirra sect for all vampires that would convert to Islam.
