  • Arcanum Magazine begins publication. Thirty copies are sold. Sales do well enough that creators Steve and Stewart Wieck decide to continue publication as White Wolf Magazine.

• White Wolf Magazine begins publication, largely on hand-stapled photocopied pages.
• White Wolf Magazine 4 is the first issue to be sent to a professional printer.
• White Wolf Magazine 5 is the first issue with colour on the cover. Circulation exceeds 1000 copies.
