- Plague ravages several African tribes and cities until 1441; visions foretell a giant white ghost falling across the land. Bands of Ngoma and Madzimbabwe attack both each other and all newcomers.[1]

- December 31: The Mistridge Tribunal. Hermetic Master Baldric La Salle, Lady Nightshade and Master Valorian meet in the ruins of Mistridge, where it's said they're visited by faeries. The meeting begins tonight and lasts into the next day.[2]
