- 1330-1420: The Plague Years. Vicious series of plagues rip Europe — some are mundane, some are not. In retaliation, known magi are attacked, Covenants thrown down by Daedaleans and mortals alike.
- 1420-1445: Lodge Wars of Tuscany. Various guilds claiming to be "true Masons" fight throughout northern Italy. Some possess Solificati secrets, Hermetic ties or Craftmason affiliations, but most are simply mortal guilds.
- Year of the Great Sickness. Plague hits Zimbabwe, decimates population. Ngoma and Madzimbabwe blame each other, go to war. Truce negotiated by King Kola'a Ti sends Madzimbabwe into rural areas. Relations remain strained.
- By some accounts, the Seers of Chronos and Ahl-i-Batin encourage the Houses of Hermes to call a worldwide Tribunal for the good of all Magi. The response is mixed.
